The Teachers Council extends its warmest appreciation and a note of acknowledgement to ALL teachers who have paid their registration fees. The last deadline was Friday 20th of November, 2020.
To date, there are a number of teachers who have not paid their registration fees despite numerous reminders. Given the high number of requests from teachers, the STC has approved a final extension for payments of registration fees for Thursday 24th December, 2020.
You are urged to take note of the following process for paying the prescribed fee(s).
The fees must be paid to the cashier of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture that will be opened for UPOLU from Tuesday 1st – Thursday 24th December 2020 and forSAVAII from Monday 14th – Friday 18th December 2020. Your payment receipt will be required in order to take a passport photo.
You are required to pay the amount of $150.00 for full registration and issuance of registration certificate plus the Teaching license before end of business on Thursday 24th December, 2020.
It is very important that you follow the schedule provided for easier management and smooth implementation of our payment process.
You are also reminded to take this final notice seriously, as your failure to pay your registration fees and obtain a Registration Certificate and Teaching License would and can affect your eligibility to teach in any school within Samoa pursuant to Section 5(1), Section 17(2) and Section 20(1) of the Teachers Act 2016.
