IMG 20170213 142049Leififi College hosted their exhibition and sale of handicrafts items made by students of vocational subjects on Wednesday 24/10/18.

“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest” was the theme of the day.

The program reflected students’ efforts in Technical, Vocational and Education Training (TVET). It was officially opened by the Chief Executive Officer of MESC, Afioga Afamasaga Dr. Karoline-Fuata’i Afamasaga. In her opening speech, she acknowledged the efforts of students in designing and creating different crafts reflecting their fields of expertise. She also emphasized the importance of developing the skills and experience of our students in vocational areas of learning. The teachers hard work and parents’ support was also recognized.

The program of the day ended with the display of various products that students had produced from the following vocational subjects: Design Technology, Visual Art, Food & Textile Technology, Agricultural Science, Health & PE, Music and Entrepreneurship.

Students’ exhibited a range of woodwork projects, handicrafts, fabric designs, musical displays, agricultural products, paintings and much more.
