The new volunteers will work under a partnership with MESC to promote teaching and learning capacities in English Literacy. They will spend two years living  and working with our people in villages and as English Resource teachers in government primary schools. The group will also enhance school libraries  creating parents/community involvement in building students’ literacy skills.

This 90th group will spend their first 9 weeks in a Pre-Service Training Program of learning the Samoan language and culture along with technical training.  This will take place in a village setting and from there they will be introduced to their new sites in villages over the Christmas holidays before they start their  two- year assignment.
