The mid-term review for the Education Sector will be held on Friday 28th October 2016 at the TATTE Building from 8:30am-4:00pm.
This event is another milestone for the Education Sector through its Education Sector Plan to achieve high quality education and training so that all people in Samoa are educated and productively engaged.
The mid-term review is an amalgamation of the Education Sector’s Third Annual Review and mid-review of its Education Sector Plan from 2013 to 2018. The progress, key achievements and challenges of the Education Sector from 2013 to 2016, together with the shared views and ideas of the Sector’s Stakeholders will provide a platform for the sector to improve the implementation of its remaining initiatives in the current sector plan and for the development of a new Education Sector Plan.
This event is organized by the three main composition mandates of the Education Sector – Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture (MESC), National University of Samoa (NUS) and Samoa Qualifications Authority (SQA).
Honorable Minister of Education, Sports and Culture, Loau Solamalemalo Keneti Sio will deliver the key note address.
Representatives from government Ministries, government, mission and private schools, community, development partners and other stakeholders will be present and joining the three main composition mandates to make this review successful.
